This page explains in plain words what information we use when you visit the website or contact us, why, who else sees it and what rights you have.
At a glance
We use your information only to reply to you and to carry out the work you ask for. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
Until you make a choice in the cookie message, the website stores nothing on your device and loads nothing from Google. The visitor statistics we keep are anonymous and cookie-free.
Who we are
The controller of your data is PestXperts (VAT no. 138907104, GEMI 175359709000), Ilioupoleos 10, 18450 Nikaia, Greece. For anything about your data, write to info@pestxperts.gr or call +30 697 810 2685.
What we collect
When you fill in the contact form: your name, email, phone (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. If you call us, email us or message us on Viber, the details you give us there.
The website has no user accounts and no payments. Please do not include health details or other sensitive data in your message, as we do not need them.
Why we use it
To reply to your request, give you a quote and, if we agree, schedule and carry out the work (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To issue invoices and meet our tax obligations if work is carried out (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
For the security of the website and for anonymous visitor statistics (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
For the Google map and optional cookies, only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not build profiles.
Who else has access
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Contact-form messages are sent and stored through Netlify after an automatic spam check. For the security of the website, Netlify also logs technical visit data such as your IP address.
Our email (info@pestxperts.gr) runs on Google Workspace. Form messages and the emails you send us arrive there.
These providers act on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect the data. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it, for example in a tax audit.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers (Netlify, Google, Umami) may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Visitor statistics
To know how many people visit the website and which pages are read, we use Umami. Umami does not use cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not store your IP address and does not identify you personally. We only see overall, anonymous figures, such as how often a page was read or a button was pressed.
Cookies and your choices
The first time you visit, we ask which cookies you allow. "Accept all" and "Reject" are equally easy, and you can change your mind at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before.
Necessary: the cc_cookie cookie stores only your choice, so we do not ask you on every page. It is kept for 6 months, after which we ask again.
Google map: the map on the Contact page loads only if you press "Show map" or allow the "Google Map" category. Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Statistics and Advertising: only if you allow these categories may Google tools be activated (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement), with the cookies listed in "Cookie settings". If you do not allow them, none of these load.
Links to other services
Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps and Viber take you to those services, where their own terms and privacy policies apply. Nothing from these services loads on our website before you click the link.
How long we keep it
We delete form messages within 12 months if no work follows. If work is carried out, we keep what is needed for invoicing for as long as tax law requires. Your cookie choice is kept for 6 months. Technical visit data is kept for a limited period under Netlify's terms.
How we protect your information
Communication with the website is always encrypted (HTTPS). The website has no database and no user accounts, and form messages pass only through the providers listed above.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in electronic form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email us at info@pestxperts.gr and we will reply within one month. If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Changes
If anything changes in how we handle data, for example if we add a new service, we will update this page and the date at the top.
